General Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery

Dr. Seidman is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general and vascular surgery. Dr. Seidman is a member of the Oregon Medical Association, Lane County Medical Society and also a fellow of the American College of Surgery. He has been published and lectured on various topics in general and vascular surgery. His original research in the field of vascular surgery won awards at the American Venous Forum and the New England Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Seidman is the Medical Director for Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute as well as a member of the society of vascular surgery. He has completed fellowships in vascular surgery, endovascular surgery and trauma.

His special interests lie in the field of vascular surgery and endovascular surgery. He has brought to Eugene unique experience in general, vascular and endovascular surgery. He leads the region with expertise and knowledge with aortic stents, grafting for abdominal aortic aneurysms and thoracic aneurysms. He is introducing numerous new and innovative technologies to our surgical community, including carotid stenting, endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, endovascular treatment of complex thoracic aortic pathology and peripheral arterial disease.

Dr. Seidman was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His hobbies include kayaking, surfing and backcountry expeditions. He moved to Eugene with his family in 2002.
