Day Surgery is a multi-specialty surgery center co-located on the Sacred Heart Medical Center RiverBend Campus. We provide ENT, General, GYN, Neuro, Orthopedic, Pain Management and Podiatry surgical care. We have three operating rooms and our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7am – 5pm.

CURRENT OPENINGS: Clinical Director – Full Time
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Clinical Director is responsible for the nursing staff and the day-to-day operations of clinical services. As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and coordinating patient care to ensure safe practices. Collaborates with Pre-operative, PACU, SPD, Materials Management and Operating Room nurses to achieve optimum patient outcomes. Participates in purchasing of surgical supplies, controlled drugs, and equipment. Coordinates staff development, orientation and staff discipline, assigning daily assignments and performance evaluations including position specific technical competencies.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Prefer BSN, CNOR, or five years nursing in critical care/surgery and two years management in outpatient surgery. Must have good communications skills. Knowledgeable of current trends and developments in ambulatory surgery and a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Ability to develop clinical policy and procedures in an ambulatory surgery setting, maintain all clinical logs and requirement standards by CMS and the Joint Commission
